Kim Kardashian and Oprah WinfreyOprah Winfrey says Kim Kardashian's explanation for her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries "leveled" her.

An interview by the media mogul with the entire Kardashian clan television stars is due to air on Sunday on her network OWN.

Oprah has revealed that the 31-year-old's split from the basketball player in October will be addressed in the program, Oprah's Next Chapter. "Everyone who's asked was the marriage a publicity stunt? Why did she leave after 72 days? Her answer leveled me," she wrote on her Facebook page.

Oprah hinted more about what will feature in the one-hour chat: "I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon, why so many people love to watch their every move and why so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really 'famous for being famous' or is there something more?"

Joseph FiennesThe cast of the second season of American Horror Story is coming together slowly, but surely...

In addition to a handful of actors returning to the FX show from season one, word through the TV grapevine says that Joseph Fiennes -- whom you may recall from his most recent small screen role as Mark Benford on Flash Forward -- is in talks for the Ryan Murphy/Brad Falchuk-created show.

The anthology series takes place in the sixties -- more specifically, in an East Coast institution for the criminally insane. Fiennes would play the head of the institution, where Jessica Lange's character works (incidentally, her character is a love interest for Fiennes').

Musician-turned-reality show judge Adam Levine is also new to the series, portraying a character known only as one half of a couple known as The Lovers.

American Horror Story's sophomore season is scheduled to premiere this Fall.

Britney Spears at 'X Factor' auditions in KansasBritney Spears is an "incredibly tough" judge on The X Factor.

The "Toxic" singer is part of the new line up on the US version of the singing talent show, and doesn't give budding singers an easy time if their renditions aren't up to scratch.

"She's got a really good instinct, and when she loves something, she looks like she wants to dance on the desk. When she doesn't like someone, she is incredibly tough," a source said.

Britney's harder side was revealed at the show's auditions in Kansas at the weekend, where she starred on the panel alongside Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Louis Walsh, who had stepped in from the UK version of the show to replace Simon Cowell, who was taken ill with bronchitis.

"You have to be great to be on this show, so I vote no," Britney told one contestant, according to the source.

Cheryl ColeCheryl Cole would be "perfect" for a role in Glee.

The Girls Aloud beauty is currently starring in her first movie role as herself in What to Expect When You're Expecting alongside Matthew Morrison, and the star of the musical TV show believes she would be great in the series.

"I think she actually has all the tools to be in our show. She'd be a perfect fit for Glee - the acting and singing and dancing," he said.

Matthew admits they only hung out briefly on the set of the romantic comedy but he was impressed with how she dealt with the part: "We spent three days hanging out on the set of What to Expect When You're Expecting. As someone who comes to London quite often, you can't leave without hearing who she is or seeing her face so, it was really good to actually talk to her as a human being and see what a genuinely nice and beautiful person she is."

SnookiSnooki has moved out of the Jersey Shore house because she doesn't want to be surrounded by parties.

The pregnant star - who is engaged to Jionni LaValle - is living in an adjacent house as she was worried about what people would think of her if she stayed, but show chiefs believe her change of address will provide new themes for the program to explore.

"It's not a prison. I know she's concerned about the perception of her being a pregnant woman in a party house. I think that's a common experience among a group of friends when somebody gets pregnant. This is an opportunity to see how she deals with it and how the rest of the house deals with it. The show has always been about following what's really happening in their lives," Chris Linn, MTV's executive Vice President of programming and head of production, told Entertainment Weekly.

However, he reassured that fans shouldn't worry about Snooki losing her humor now she is readying for a more sensible path in her life.

As if one's love for The Wire couldn't be any greater, Funny or Die -- a comedy site founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay -- went and created this.

Sonja Sohn, Andre Royo, Larry Gillard Jr., Felicia "Snoop" Pearson, and Michael Kenneth Williams reprise their roles from the critically-acclaimed HBO series in this hilarious trailer for the imaginary musical. The trailer recreates a few of the show's most famous scenes -- with a lot more singing, dancing, and smiling.

I dare you not to get "Chess is a Metaphor for Drugs" stuck in your head this week.

Kelly ClarksonKelly Clarkson says she hated life in the years following her American Idol win.

The original winner of the show in 2002 admitted that the show's makers were out for themselves as opposed to caring about her well-being: "I'm going to be completely honest - I had no one looking out for me. They were looking out for the show, and it was horrible. I was 19 years old. I was smart enough to know that it wasn't about me, but that didn't make it any easier. I'm all cried out about it, but my first four years, I hated my life; I almost quit a dozen times."

Now Kelly - who is dating her manager's son, Brandon Blackstock - says she is finally happy.

"Where's the kick in the ass? I told my assistant that today. I said, 'I'm just waiting for something to blow up.' She said, 'No, that's what happiness is.' I'm like, maybe I've never been happy! Because Brandon does - he makes me happy," she continued.

Andy SambergFirst Kristen Wiig, and now this?!

After rumors of his departure and the premiere of "Lazy Sunday 2," (with lyrics like "On these New York streets I hone my fake rap penmanship / That’s how it began, and that’s how I’m-a finish it," could it be any more obvious?), Andy Samberg has confirmed that he will not be returning as a cast member on Saturday Night Live next season.

“It’s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life. Obviously it’s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back," he said.

While Samberg claims that it was "one of the hardest decisions [he's] ever made," he revealed that he had some help from fellow cast member Wiig: "She kept saying it just feels like it’s her time. I connect with that. Something about it just feels like it’s the moment. My contract’s up and I did so much more than I ever thought I would ever even do."

Leonardo DiCaprioLeonardo DiCaprio was almost cast in Baywatch.

The Great Gatsby star was in line to play the role of Hobie - son of central character Mitch Buchannon - in the hugely popular 90s Californian lifeguard series, but show star and producer David Hasselhoff thinks it was better for his career not to have won the part.

"Yeah, it was true! You know what, it was the best thing to happen to Leonardo DiCaprio. I saw Leonardo and I said, 'You know what, that was the best thing that ever happened to you! You would have never gotten Titanic and have been this big star,'" said David, who played Mitch and co-produced the show.

Joking about the actor who did get the role he added, "'You'd be like Jeremy Jackson and David Hasselhoff, looking for work.' Ha!"
